I’m so excited to share the latest GillyMac Quilt — The Wimbledon Quilt, ready to make its debut in 2026!
This beautiful design combines traditional piecing, appliqué, and foundation piecing techniques, with the option to add a stunning curved-edge finish for an extra-special touch.

Before the class, you’ll receive all the details you need — fabric requirements, cutting instructions, and colour guidance — so you’ll be ready to dive straight in.

Over the weekend, we’ll cover:

• How to create and bulk-make the central blocks

• Applying the appliqué pieces

• Constructing the foundation-pieced borders

There’s also an optional quilting morning (19th September), where we’ll explore and practise three quilting methods I recommend to bring your finished quilt to life.

The Wimbledon Quilt can be made in metre fabrics (as shown in the purple version) or with fat quarters (as in the yellow version) — and it works beautifully with both bold, modern prints and softer, ditsy designs.
