Free Motion Quilting isn’t complex when it is broken down into manageable steps and achievable patterns. I will show you how to use your darning foot and draw with your sewing machine in this class. This class includes access to the Complete Doodle Challenge Video Set of over 80 doodle designs. You can be a beginner in the course or someone who has sewn for years and not got to grips with free motions sewing.

The day is split into three sections. First, we will look at how the darning foot operates, why it is different and what can be achieved. Then we will tackle ten different designs, which are those I use most frequently in my work. Finally, we will combine designs and look at some actual quilt examples and which designs are suitable for different areas of your quilt. You will leave the class with confidence on how to apply a set of designs to your quilt and with 70 more designs ready to have a go at when you are ready.

During the day I will demonstrated the designs and tricks I use to achieve consistently good results on my own quilts. The class size is limited to 5 participants to aid your learning.
