In this four evenings or two-saturdays workshop, we’ll begin by selecting the ideal pattern size and customising it to achieve a fit that’s uniquely yours.

What You’ll Learn:

• Choosing the Right Size: Learn how to select and adjust the pattern for a flawless fit.
• Pattern Alterations: Customize the pattern with expert tips to suit your body perfectly.
• Decorative Topstitching & Double Stitching: Add professional-style topstitching and create durable seams using your domestic machine.
• Mastering the Fly Front: Construct a fly-front zipper with expert layering and topstitching for a polished look.
• Pockets and Bar Tacking: Sew patch, slash, and coin pockets, and reinforce stress points with bar tacking to ensure durability.
• Attaching a Waistband: Attach the waistband, aligning multiple layers for a clean, structured finish.
• Securing Belt Loops: Learn to add and secure belt loops with bar tacks or reinforced stitching.
• Handling Denim Bulk: Discover techniques to reduce bulk at intersections for a smooth finish.
• Heavy-Duty Hemming: For extra durability, finish with a strong hem that will stand the test of time using chain or double-fold methods.
