All sewing machines, feet and accessories required for the day will be provided for workshop participants at the Janome Training Centre. Requirements (for one 20” x 15” mat)

• 1m fabric (plain/plainish is best)
• Various threads which will stand out against your fabric choice (at least 5 colours – 7-9  would be preferable)
• 0.6m backing fabric and a thread which matches this for bobbin when quilting
• Fat Quarter binding fabric 
• 1m of Stitch and Tear 
• 25” x 20 “ piece of wadding 
• Marker for the fabric colour of your choice (which can be removed – chalk or waterbased are usually best)
• Quilting ruler
• Cutting board
• Rotary cutter
