Description

Tired of wrestling large quilting projects through your sewing machine? Quilting can be so much easier — and ruler quilting is the simple game-changer you’ve been looking for!

You don’t need a huge collection of expensive rulers to create beautiful quilting designs. In fact, with just one straight ruler and a ruler foot, you can unlock a wide variety of quilting patterns, angles, and textures. Add in a few simple doodles and suddenly the design possibilities are endless!

Ruler quilting has completely transformed the way I quilt, and I now rarely quilt without a ruler. It makes quilting smoother, easier, and far more enjoyable. Using up to three cameras you will see everything closer that you would in a busy class.

In this hands-on class you will learn:

  • How to install and adjust your ruler foot for the best performance
  • The correct way to hold and control the ruler
  • How to use a straight ruler to create different patterns and angles
  • Ways to apply ruler quilting to your own projects
  • Which rulers are genuinely useful

Before the class, Gill can recommend an affordable ruler foot and ruler suitable for your sewing machine.

During the day, we’ll get comfortable using the ruler and work through 15 different quilting designs, all included in the comprehensive class notes.

As an added bonus, the class also includes access to a full online video-on-demand version of the workshop, so you can revisit the techniques anytime at home.

Whether you’re new to ruler quilting or want to build confidence and control, this class will open up a whole new world of quilting possibilities!
