Description
The Oxbow Tote is Noodlehead’s latest bag. It is a versatile zippered top tote bag in two sizes, which features an easy-access front pocket, reinforced base, crossbody strap, and a roomy interior with a slip pocket. Your choice of main fabric, accent fabric and pocket clasp can customise the beautiful front. I will also show you how to add a luggage sleeve to the rear of the bag if that will be useful for you.
Many fabrics will work for the Oxbow Tote, such as pre-quilted fashion fabric, waxed canvas, waterproof canvas, denim, curtain fabric, tapestry fabrics, or even tweed. A waterproof canvas, quilting cotton or a linen mix would be great for the lining. You can add further style by adding an alternative accent fabric for the front pocket and a snazzy webbing strap.
Before the class, I will send you the pattern and a cheat sheet on interfacing, which will help you decide which to use with your chosen fabric. The interfacing options range from foam wadding. Fleece and regular woven interfacings will deliver a different look and feel.
